Built to Store What Matters
At StoreYourBoard, we believe the things you love deserve a better place to live when you're not using them.
Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, an adventure seeker, a dedicated athlete, or someone who simply wants a more organized home, the right storage solution can make everyday life easier. Our mission is to help people protect their gear, maximize their space, and spend less time organizing and more time doing what they love.
We design practical, durable, and thoughtfully engineered storage solutions for homes, garages, sheds, docks, and other spaces where equipment needs to stay organized and accessible.
Our Story
StoreYourBoard began with a simple problem: finding a reliable way to store the equipment we loved was harder than it should have been.
In 2009, founder Josh Gordon was an avid skier and board-sports enthusiast with a growing collection of boards and limited storage space. Frustrated by the lack of suitable options, he used his mechanical engineering background to design and build a rack of his own.
That first solution became the foundation of StoreYourBoard.
As more customers discovered our products, their needs extended beyond boards. They wanted better ways to store bicycles, kayaks, paddleboards, skis, fishing equipment, tools, and other outdoor essentials. We listened, expanded our product range, and continued developing solutions for a wider variety of storage challenges.
What started as a personal project has grown into a company dedicated to helping people organize the equipment, hobbies, and everyday belongings that matter to them.
Designed by People Who Use Them
We understand that storage needs are different for every person.
An avid cyclist may need a secure place for multiple bikes. A kayaker may need a rack that keeps watercraft off the garage floor. A skier may want to organize boards and accessories between seasons. A homeowner may simply need to reclaim valuable space in a crowded garage.
These real-life situations influence the way we approach product design.
Our team includes engineers, outdoor enthusiasts, product specialists, and storage experts who understand the practical challenges of keeping equipment organized. We focus on creating solutions that work in everyday environments and make it easier to access gear when the next adventure calls.
Storage Solutions for Every Adventure
StoreYourBoard offers a broad selection of storage products designed for different activities, equipment types, and spaces.
Our collections include storage racks and accessories for kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, surfboards, bicycles, skis, snowboards, fishing rods, sports equipment, tools, and general garage organization.
From wall-mounted racks and ceiling hoists to freestanding systems, shelving, hooks, and storage accessories, our products help customers make better use of available space.
Whether you have one favorite piece of equipment or an extensive collection, we aim to provide options that suit your storage needs.
Make Every Inch Count
Space is valuable, whether you live in a compact home or have a large garage filled with equipment.
Our products are designed to help customers use that space more efficiently. By taking advantage of walls, ceilings, vertical storage, and carefully planned layouts, it becomes easier to keep floors clear and equipment organized.
A well-organized space can also make everyday routines more convenient. When your gear has a designated place, you can find what you need faster, put equipment away more easily, and prepare for your next activity with less hassle.
We believe smart storage is not just about creating more room. It is about making the room you already have work better.
Built for Durability and Functionality
Storage products need to do more than look good. They need to hold equipment securely and stand up to regular use.
That is why we emphasize practical construction, durable materials, and functional designs across our collections. Our products are developed with specific equipment and storage environments in mind, helping customers choose solutions suited to their needs.
Depending on the product, features may include adjustable configurations, protective contact points, space-saving mounting systems, weather-resistant construction, and flexible storage arrangements.
We focus on combining strength, usability, and thoughtful design to create storage solutions that customers can rely on.
From the Garage to the Great Outdoors
For many people, outdoor activities are more than hobbies. They are opportunities to explore, stay active, connect with friends, and create lasting memories.
At StoreYourBoard, we want storage to support those experiences rather than become an obstacle to them.
Our kayak and paddleboard racks help organize water-sports equipment. Our bike storage systems help keep bicycles accessible between rides. Our ski and snowboard solutions make seasonal gear easier to manage, while our general garage storage products help organize tools and other essentials.
By making equipment easier to store and retrieve, we help customers stay ready for the activities they enjoy.
Practical Design for Everyday Organization
Not every storage challenge involves sports equipment.
Homes, garages, workshops, sheds, and utility areas often contain tools, ladders, bins, boxes, and other items that need a designated place. Our wider storage collections address these everyday needs with shelving, wall-mounted organizers, hooks, cabinets, and multipurpose systems.
We believe an organized space should be functional without being complicated. Products should be easy to understand, appropriate for their intended use, and designed to make the most of the available area.
Our goal is to help customers create spaces that feel more orderly, accessible, and ready for everyday life.
A Team Focused on Better Solutions
StoreYourBoard has grown from a founder's practical idea into a team of engineers, product specialists, customer service professionals, and fulfillment experts based in Virginia.
Our work continues to be guided by the same problem-solving mindset that inspired our first storage rack. We look for everyday frustrations, consider how people actually use their spaces, and develop products that address those needs.
Customer feedback also plays an important role in our development process. As equipment changes and storage challenges evolve, we continue exploring new designs and improving the solutions we offer.
Quality and Customer Confidence
We want customers to feel confident choosing a storage solution for their home, garage, or outdoor equipment.
That means offering a broad range of products, providing useful product information, and helping customers identify the right options for their needs. Our commitment extends beyond the initial purchase to supporting customers as they organize and maintain their spaces.
We also stand behind our products with a lifetime warranty on eligible products, reflecting our focus on durability and long-term customer confidence. Customers should review the applicable warranty terms for details about coverage.
Our Mission
Our mission is to design premium storage products that bring order, maximize space, and stand the test of time.
We believe that better organization creates more opportunities to enjoy life. When your equipment is protected, your space is under control, and everything has a place, you can spend less time dealing with clutter and more time pursuing your interests.
That belief continues to guide the products we develop and the customers we serve.
Looking Ahead
StoreYourBoard continues to expand beyond its original focus on board storage to address a wider range of home, garage, sports, and outdoor organization needs.
As new activities, equipment, and storage challenges emerge, we remain committed to practical engineering, durable construction, and designs that make everyday life simpler.
Our goal is to help more people create organized spaces where the things they value are protected, accessible, and ready to use.
From sports equipment and outdoor gear to tools and everyday essentials, StoreYourBoard creates storage solutions for the things that make life interesting.
We believe an organized space gives you more freedom to focus on what matters — whether that means preparing for your next adventure or simply enjoying a cleaner, more functional home.
