Stillwater was founded by Los Angeles native Lisa Popp with a vision of creating a wardrobe built around clean lines, natural textures, and understated confidence.

Drawing inspiration from California's beach culture and contemporary city life, the brand developed a signature aesthetic that blends minimalism with a relaxed bohemian spirit. By keeping production close to home, we are able to work closely with our manufacturing partners, support fair-wage domestic production, and maintain greater control over quality and craftsmanship. Many of our products are designed, developed, and produced within a short distance of our downtown Los Angeles headquarters.
