Bringing Japan’s Finest Tea to the World
At Japanese Green Tea Co., we are passionate about sharing the authentic taste, culture, and craftsmanship of Japanese tea with tea lovers around the globe. Our mission is simple: to deliver exceptional Japanese tea experiences that create memorable moments while preserving the traditions and quality standards that have defined Japan's tea industry for generations.
Founded in 2015, Japanese Green Tea Co. was born from a personal passion for authentic Japanese tea and the challenge of finding truly high-quality tea outside of Japan. What began as a small effort to help friends access a unique tea grown in nutrient-rich sugarcane soil has evolved into a trusted global brand serving customers across North America, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
A Commitment to Authenticity
We believe great tea begins at its source. That's why we work closely with renowned tea producers in Shizuoka, Japan, one of the country's most respected tea-growing regions. Our flagship teas are cultivated using traditional farming methods that prioritize soil health, sustainability, and exceptional flavor. These practices help create teas known for their smooth character, natural sweetness, and reduced bitterness.
Rather than focusing solely on trends, we focus on authenticity. Every tea we offer is carefully selected based on quality, taste, and its ability to showcase the rich heritage of Japanese tea culture.
Award-Winning Excellence
Quality is at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, our teas have received international recognition, including multiple Global Tea Championship awards. These achievements reflect the dedication of the farmers, artisans, and tea experts who work tirelessly to produce exceptional tea experiences for customers around the world.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond awards. We continually seek out the finest teas, innovative brewing experiences, and educational resources that help customers discover and appreciate the depth of Japanese tea traditions.
Connecting Tradition and Modern Life
Tea is more than a beverage—it is a connection to culture, history, and well-being. At Japanese Green Tea Co., we strive to bridge the gap between traditional Japanese craftsmanship and the modern lifestyles of tea enthusiasts worldwide.
Through educational content, brewing guides, cultural insights, and carefully curated products, we help customers explore the fascinating world of Japanese tea with confidence and enjoyment. Whether you are discovering Japanese tea for the first time or are a lifelong enthusiast, we aim to make every cup meaningful.
Sustainability and Responsibility
We believe great products should be created responsibly. By partnering with farms that embrace sustainable cultivation methods and long-term environmental stewardship, we support practices that protect both the land and future generations of tea growers. Traditional techniques such as the Chagusaba farming method help maintain biodiversity while producing tea of exceptional quality.

We are dedicated to helping customers experience the remarkable flavors, health benefits, and cultural richness that make Japanese tea one of the world's most treasured beverages.
