ESAS was created to offer a new approach to fragrance: sophisticated scents made with natural and organic ingredients, complete ingredient transparency, and a commitment to conscious beauty.
Our Story
ESAS was founded by Seda Bilginer and Amanda Sichon, two women with more than 25 years of combined experience in the fragrance and beauty industry.
Both founders spent years working behind the scenes of the traditional fragrance world. They understood the artistry, chemistry, and craftsmanship required to create beautiful scents, but they also saw a gap between what consumers wanted and what the industry was offering.
People were increasingly looking for synthetic-free and more transparent beauty products, yet finding truly transparent fragrance options was not always easy.
Seda and Amanda decided to change that.
Rather than simply creating another fragrance brand, they set out to rethink the way fragrance could be formulated, communicated, and experienced.
That vision became ESAS.

The Science Behind the Scent
Beautiful fragrance is both an art and a science.
Our founders bring extensive professional experience in chemistry, fragrance development, product formulation, and the broader beauty industry. Seda studied Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics and spent more than 15 years working across skincare formulation, fine fragrance, product development, and account management.
Amanda also has a background in Chemistry and Public Health & Policy, followed by a Master of Science in Cosmetic Chemistry. Her professional experience includes laboratory work, fragrance and flavor development, team leadership, and laboratory operations.
Together, their scientific backgrounds allow ESAS to approach fragrance with both creativity and technical expertise.
We believe the most compelling scents come from bringing these two worlds together.

Nature is an important part of the ESAS philosophy.
Our products are developed around natural and organic ingredients, with careful consideration given to the materials used throughout the formulation and production process.
We are inspired by botanicals, flowers, woods, resins, and other natural elements that have been used across cultures for generations.
At the same time, we believe modern fragrance should benefit from modern science. Our approach combines traditional inspiration with contemporary formulation knowledge to create scents that feel refined, expressive, and relevant to today's consumer.

Their different backgrounds bring complementary perspectives to the brand. Seda's experience across beauty and fragrance business development combines with Amanda's expertise in chemistry, formulation, and laboratory science.
