Discover Independent Fashion at DOORS NYC
DOORS NYC is a New York-based destination for independent fashion, jewelry, beauty, and contemporary art. We bring together emerging designers, established independent labels, artists, and creative talent from around the world to create a shopping experience centered on originality, discovery, and individuality.
Our carefully curated selection gives customers access to designers and collections that are often difficult to find through traditional luxury retailers. From distinctive clothing and statement accessories to jewelry, beauty products, and contemporary artwork, every piece is selected with an appreciation for creativity and independent design.
A New Approach to Fashion Retail
DOORS NYC was created to give independent designers a platform where their creativity can reach a wider audience.
Our concept combines online retail, a physical concept store, and a fashion PR showroom. This allows us to connect designers with customers, editors, buyers, influencers, and other members of the fashion community while creating opportunities for independent brands to grow in the United States and internationally.
Rather than following a traditional department-store model, we focus on discovering distinctive brands and presenting them in an environment built around creativity and culture.
A Curated Selection of Independent Designers
Our collections feature a wide range of independent fashion designers and creative labels from different parts of the world.
We carefully discover designers through fashion weeks, international showrooms, emerging talent competitions, galleries, exhibitions, and other creative platforms. Our selection includes womenswear, menswear, unisex fashion, shoes, bags, accessories, jewelry, and beauty.
The DOORS NYC assortment also includes contemporary art, with paintings, photography, prints, sculptures, digital art, and design objects adding another creative dimension to the platform.
Where Fashion Meets Art
At DOORS NYC, we believe fashion and contemporary art naturally belong together.
Our concept store and online platform bring these creative disciplines into the same environment, allowing customers to discover fashion alongside artwork and design objects from independent artists.
This connection between fashion, art, and culture is central to the DOORS NYC experience. We want every visit to offer something unexpected and inspire customers to explore new designers, artists, ideas, and perspectives.
Supporting Independent Talent
Independent designers bring fresh ideas, distinctive craftsmanship, and new perspectives to the fashion industry. At DOORS NYC, supporting that creativity is at the heart of what we do.
Every purchase from our independent designer collections helps provide visibility and commercial opportunities for the brands behind the products. Our role goes beyond selling products; we work to build long-term relationships with designers and help connect their work with new audiences.
Through retail, e-commerce, public relations, marketing, and industry connections, we help independent brands establish and expand their presence in the U.S. market.
Our SoHo Concept Store
Located at 425 West Broadway in New York City's SoHo neighborhood, DOORS NYC places independent fashion and creative talent within one of the world's most recognized fashion destinations.
Our physical space brings together fashion, art, events, and community, creating an environment where customers can experience independent brands beyond the traditional online shopping experience.
The store also serves as a space for designer launches, fashion presentations, exhibitions, and conversations that bring together people from across the creative industries.
More Than a Retail Destination
DOORS NYC hosts an ongoing program of events designed to connect designers, artists, buyers, editors, founders, and other creative professionals.
From designer launches and fashion presentations to exhibitions and discussions about the future of fashion, technology, and AI, our events are designed to encourage conversation and collaboration within the creative community.
These experiences allow DOORS NYC to function not only as a retailer but also as a meeting point for independent fashion and contemporary culture.
Connecting Designers With New Audiences
For independent brands, reaching customers in new markets can be challenging. DOORS NYC provides an integrated platform that combines retail, e-commerce, PR, marketing, and industry connections.
Our approach helps designers present their collections to customers while also creating opportunities for exposure through our broader fashion and creative network. The platform has expanded into an omnichannel model designed to help independent fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle brands grow in the U.S. and beyond.
Our Mission
Our mission is to discover, support, and champion independent creative talent.
We believe fashion is at its most exciting when designers have the freedom to experiment, challenge conventions, and develop their own creative identities. By connecting independent brands and artists with new audiences, we aim to contribute to a more diverse and dynamic fashion landscape.
Discover Something Different
DOORS NYC is for people who appreciate originality and want to discover something beyond the familiar.
Whether you are searching for an independent designer dress, a distinctive handbag, contemporary jewelry, beauty products, statement accessories, or original artwork, our curated collections offer an opportunity to explore new creative voices from around the world.
